Come Again,Hello New Friend, Where Are You?

new adventures of old christine
little britain
rescue me
I remember in College saying that I never wanted to work in Television. Oh how you don't realize how willing you are for a job when you are older. I think most of it was knowing I wanted to be in comedy, and knowing that most of the sitcoms were not that good, and thus not creatively fulfilling. But at this time I could imagine no better job than working in TV, and the fall brings about a optimism for many reasons. Viewers get to find 'their new show', and catch up with the cliffhangers of last season, and the people in LA cross they're fingers for syndication, getting picked up, and high dvd sales. So without further adieu I bring you my list of intrigue, excitement, and intriment ( a combination of the two)
RETURNING SHOWS
PUSHING DAISIES-i did not get a chance to watch this show last year, and i don't think i would be a regular on this but defo want to check it out. NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE-after starting to watch this last year i got hooked and i think hands down this is the best traditional sitcom on tv right now, and of course it almost didnt come back. Julia  Louis Dreyfuss and the guy who plays her brother Hamish Linklater are hilarious. 30 ROCK-has only gotten better. THE OFFICE-i think really is showing it's age,but is still enjoyable. CHUCK-i saw prob half of the episodes last year and thought it was fun. Zach Levi and his best friend on the show Joshua Gomez are a great one two. Also Adam Baldwin who is a 'oh that guy' actor. HEROES-looks like season 3 is taking a dark turn. IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA-may be my favorite show on tv. many of these episodes i could watch over and over again. DEXTER-i have only watched the pilot episode, but with all the people saying that i should start watching it I might now.
NEW SHOWS-
GARY UNMARRIED-im interested in watching this, but i dont think this Jay Mohr show will last a whole season. WORST WEEK-i have personal ties to this show, and I hope it does well, and by the trailer it looks funny, but now will people watch? It's monday night time slot certainly will help. FRINGE-jj abrahms is the big draw. i know little what this show is about, but I do think Joshua Jackson has a good career ahead of him. KATH AND KIM-thursday time slot, again im interested, but dont think this Australian import will work. LITTLE BRITAIN USA-if you havent seen Little Britain go watch it now, its one of the best sketch shows in a long time. it does get repititious, but still stays funny. heavy on character work, and im excited to see how they work with American characters.
WHERE ARE YOU?
LOST-i know, i know not coming on till 2009 so they can run all the episodes one after another. RESCUE ME-screwed cuz of the writers strike, but i miss its FD drama mixed in with hilarity. FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS-yet again a writers strike booboo, and also the fact that it's very hard to write a whole batch of new songs after you burned through every song you've ever done in 10 episodes.

J.J. "Joy Ride" Abrams is overrated.

You made me start watching Chuck and you're dead-on about Baldwin.

Lastly, you shouldn't have blogged this. You should've been watching Dexter instead. Both seasons are 23 bucks at Best Buy right now.
