The lazy weekend comes to a close this evening. It was well needed, the cold I had has gone, and I'm ready to get some shiznitz done this week. But with a lazy weekend comes some good importation. I finally viewed DR. HORRIBLE'S SING ALONG BLOG which lives up the the internet video hype. Very good idea, done on the cheap during the writers strike headed b Joss Whedon who really knows no genre limitations. He's done Buffy, Firefly, and directed episodes of the office as well. It's a three act thingy which u can view for free on hulu.com , or u can buy it on itunes.
THE BANK JOB i headed into with good expectations because of word of mouth. Very entertaining, interesting, and good old fashioned heist movie. Go rent it now I say, and check out the docu extra about the actual real life bank job it was based on. Dirty deeds.
Also going to watch this mornings episode of SUNDAY MORNING SHOOTOUT on amc. It's hosted by two hollywood producers and they basically talk about the busniness and have some artist guest that they speak with. It is definitely slanted more to the business side of movies, but i still find it interesting, and these two 'Peters' have been in movies for probably at least 50 years combined so they have a lot to say and give plenty of opinions.

Not a damn thing really. Messed about on my new computer, and listened to bits of the two comedy cd's i recorded in college. Some of it made me laugh, some of it showed promise, and some of it was awful. I was probably 22 when i did that, and it sort of makes me feel I've had not too much self accomplished since then. Too much waiting on the hand of others I think. Waiting to get cast, get put on things, waiting, waiting, waiting. I hope the pilot comes out well. This coming year I'm going to take more of the reins, have to be less quiet. I want to write a sketch show, finish another film script, want to develop another pilot idea, do a ton more shorts, and direct.
