Not so Mad on Mad Men, Not So Rad-Fest, Who Whose Generation?

IMPORT-
Caught the latest episode of Mad Men and I'm getting a little fatigue I think. It's just getting a bit too much heavy into sleeping around and losing what season one had going for it. The bubble that was about to burst on a generation, seeing the culture at the time, and the hanging story line of who Don Draper is. Most episodic dramas go through a lull mid season because basically they are stalling for what is the big 4-5 episode finish of the season. I feel confident that they will get back to form because I've seen glimpses and certain scenes have hit hard on many levels. For one the son telling dad, 'well then we need to find you a new dad', and the new exec putting his dog outside his Mahnhattan building to his demise because it is the last bit of leftover from his ex-wife. It was a Irish Setter, far too close to a golden retriever.
Saw a tv ad for RIGHTEOUS KILL today which is a movie that I'm very worried about. But in the sell they said, 'staring the two best actors of our generation.' Which flocked my feathers disagreeing with that statement. Not in the fact that they are great actors and two of the best ever, but that they are the best of this generation. They are both in their mid 60's and in the last 15 years have come out with mostly junk to make sure their kids have inheritance. Pacino junk includes 88 Minutes, Two For the Money, Simone, Any Given Sunday, and The Devil's Advocate (which was fun, but he played a yelling cartoon character). To his credit he has done GLENGARRY GLENN ROSS,HEAT,INSOMNIA,and ANGELS IN AMERICA. Deniro on the other hand has been much busier with toxicity like The Fan,Rocky and Bullwinkle,15 Minutes,Showtime,Meet the Fockers, and Hide and Seek. His goodness to the world in the last 15 years I say are CASINO,HEAT,JACKIE BROWN,and ANALYZE THIS. Still better than not, but I don't think we can include the greatness from the 70's in our generation. I think the movies are better, but not of my generation sadly. So who is of my generation the best actors? For this purpose I say age 50 and under...Tom Hanks(i think most would say him), Russell Crowe(not the mass amount of work, but before he is done i think he will), Sean Penn (many of his movies will last for a long long time even if they didnt do 100M box office wise), Daniel Day Lewis (shouldnt be on this list really cuz he hasnt worked enough), Denzel Washington (too many action movies in my opinion), Christian Bale (one of the youngens who i think will do amazing work) Leonardo Dicaprio( i think will be one of the greats of all time mearly because he is a good actor, and very good at picking projects.) So there that is.
EXPORT-
HOWIE RAD FEST YES! was sadly cancelled for the second week in a row because we could not get 5 people in the seats. It was Labor Day, but still sad. If anything maybe it will build a appetite to work again with no rehearsals and now the last two shows cancelled.
